At thyrocarediagnostic.com, we aim to provide reliable and timely diagnostic services, including home sample collection and test processing through certified laboratory partners. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are applicable and how they are processed.
✅ 1. Cancellation Before Sample Collection
You are eligible for a refund only if the cancellation request is made before the sample collection is done.
✅ Refund allowed when:
The customer cancels due to a change in plan
The customer booked by mistake
The phlebotomist is unavailable and you do not want to reschedule
A full or partial refund may apply depending on the situation.
✅ 2. After Sample Collection
Once the sample has been collected, the test is considered “in process.”
✅ No refund can be issued after sample collection, because the lab begins processing immediately and incurs costs.
✅ 3. When Refunds Are Not Applicable
Refunds will NOT be provided if:
Wrong address or incorrect phone number provided by the customer
Customer not available at the time of collection (no-show)
Delay caused by technical issues, QC procedures, or medical re-testing
Customer refuses the service at the time of visit without valid reason
Sample rejection due to patient preparation issues (e.g., fasting not maintained, insufficient sample)
✅ 4. Package / Offer Refunds
If a discounted package is booked:
Refund will be calculated based on individual test prices if partial tests are already performed.
Offer-based bookings may not be fully refundable.
✅ 5. Double Payment or Failed Payment
If you are charged twice or payment fails but gets deducted:
✅ A full refund will be issued after verification from the payment gateway.
Processing time: 3–10 working days depending on your bank.
✅ 6. Rescheduling Instead of Refund
You may choose to reschedule the test at no extra cost if:
The phlebotomist could not reach on time
You missed the appointment but want a new slot
✅ 7. Refund Timeline
Approved refunds will be processed within:
→ 7 to 10 working days
to the original payment method (UPI / Card / Net Banking / Wallet).
